They help support the structural passage of food through the digestive tract and aid your pet in naturally cleaning out its digestive system.
Exotic pets that are strongly habituated to mice or rats may initially hesitate when presented with feathers. To entice them, make sure the quail is thoroughly thawed, then submerge it in a completely sealed plastic bag in warm water until its core temperature mimics that of live prey. Gently moving the item with feeding tongs will trigger your animal's predatory strike reflex.
Each bird is individually flash-frozen and placed into heavy-duty, commercial-grade freezer bags. This process keeps them protected from moisture loss. When kept sealed and fully frozen in a standard home freezer, the product safely maintains its premium freshness, flavor, and complete nutritional value for up to a full year.
It’s normal for dry ice to sublimate into gas during transit, so it’s not unusual for the blocks to shrink or completely disappear by the time of delivery. As long as the Jumbo Quail still feel solid or are cold to the touch with visible ice crystals, they are safe to eat. Just make sure to place them in your freezer right away.
