Your reptile may be ready when it consistently consumes smaller rabbit sizes or large rodents comfortably. The feeder should generally match the widest part of your animal’s body for safer swallowing and digestion.
Thaw rabbits overnight in the refrigerator or inside a sealed bag placed in warm water. Avoid microwaving, since uneven heating may create hot spots and reduce feeder quality during preparation.
